Dr. Paul Denny-Gouldson, Product Manager at IDBS, will also present a session on "Data Management as the Foundation of ELNs as a Knowledge Base".

Dr. Denny-Gouldson's session will demonstrate how the right data management technology can support cross-study, cross-project, and cross-domain search and reporting. Dr. Vanderlaan has been with Genentech for 14 years, most recently as the Director of Analytical Operations. Previously he was Director of Immunochemistry, PerseptiveBiosystemsHead, Hybidoma Group, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He is a technical expert in Analysis of BioPharmaceuticals using chromatography, immunoassays, and potency assays and has authored more than 80 publications and patents. Dr Vanderlaan holds a PhD. From New York University Medical School and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Dr. Denny-Gouldsonhas almost 15 years' experience in pharmacology, pharmaceutical drug development and ELN software development. He joined IDBS in 2005 when the company he founded, Deffinity Solutions was purchased by IDBS. Prior to this, he was Senior Scientist at Sanofi-Synthelabo (now Sanofi-Aventis). Dr. Denny-Gouldson obtained his PhD. in Computational Biology from Essex University in1996 and has authored over 20 scientific papers and book chapters.
