Digitalization best practices seminar hosted by IDBS and Tableau attracts leading Korean BioPharma companies

Leaders in BioPharma digital transformation, cloud computing and data analytics share success stories from domestic and international clients at a well-attended knowledge-sharing event.

IDBS, a provider of global enterprise software for scientific research, discovery, development and manufacturing, announces that it has completed a full day of knowledge-sharing sessions for the Korean BioPharma community with a focus on digitalization best practices co-hosted with intelligence data analytics platform provider Tableau (a Salesforce company).

The event held on March 14 was well attended by major Korean BioPharma companies, including domestic CDMOs and new drug developers. In a first-of-its-kind seminar hosted by leaders in their respective fields, attendees learned comprehensive BioPharma digitalization strategies across the product lifecycle. Sessions ranged from collecting and analyzing data during R&D to accelerating new drugs to market using AI and machine learning.

IDBS Regional Manager for Korea, Oh Sung-il, presented the first session on supporting drug development and manufacturing at every stage with process data management and analysis. This was followed by a presentation from Shin Chang-seop, Director of Strategy at Tableau, who shared a data analytics success story from a leading BioPharma company. The seminar concluded with a presentation from BioPharma data experts.

Importantly, the seminar sessions and customer success stories were intended to offer relevant BioPharma digitalization best practices for Korean CDMOs and drug developers with specific solutions to their unique challenges.
