Ken Forman, Lead Product Manager, Manufacturing, IDBS

Ken has spent over 30 years in product, project and IT operations leadership focused in the software and life science industries. Prior to joining IDBS where he focuses on software to manage biopharma manufacturing process data, Ken served as Director, Project Management at BIOVIA. Previously, he was Director of Commercial Operations at Fischer Imaging and Director of IT at Allos Therapeutics and Genomica. 

Ken holds a BSc in Computer Science from Cal Poly and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver. 

Abhijit Ray CTO Co-Founder Aventior

Abhijit Ray, Co-Founder and CTO, Aventior

Abhi is the CTO & Co-Founder of Aventior. He is based in Boston, and comes with a strong foundation in crafting and advancing technology platforms across BioPharma and Life Sciences, with a particular emphasis on cloud computing, AI/ML, and data engineering. He consistently plays a pivotal role in guiding enterprises through digital transformation. Abhi has been instrumental in the design and development of cutting-edge data solutions to expedite drug development, streamline clinical trials, and enhance biopharma manufacturing processes.

One of the primary focus areas for Abhi in biopharma manufacturing has been to tap the potential of unstructured data using AI technologies (such as OCR, IDP, NLP and LLM). Abhi has led the design of Aventior’s flagship AI platform, CPV Auto™ , that has been deployed by over 10 global biopharma companies to automate and streamline data collection for MS&T and Technical Operations.

Dave Watrous VP Sales Customer Success Marketing

Dave Watrous, Vice President Sales, Customer Success and Marketing, IDBS

Dave leads the commercial functions responsible for positioning our solutions in the market, acquiring new customers and expanding our existing customer accounts. He brings a clear focus on growing our business by delivering the full value of IDBS to each and every one of our customers and at every stage of their buying journey. 

Dave brings over 20 years of experience in leading operational and commercial teams in the CDMO, CRO and Life Science markets. He previously held senior commercial roles in BioPharma companies including Covance and Cytiva, where he led a team responsible for more than $200M in revenue.  

He has an academic background in the life sciences, with one BSc in Genetics, Cell Biology & Development, and another in Biochemistry, both from the University of Minnesota. He then pursued graduate studies in Cancer Biology at the University of Wisconsin, where he left his PhD program with a master’s to take advantage of opportunities in the industry. 

Christine Burnitz Rodriguez Global Strategic Account Manager

Christine Burnitz-Rodriguez, Global Strategic Account Manager, IDBS

Christine is the global account manager supporting key accounts based in the US. Christine is incredibly customer-focused, and is passionate about working with them to find the best solutions for their needs. She has recently joined IDBS with 20 years of commercial experience in life science research and biologics manufacturing. 

She has a BSc in Physics from Northern Illinois University and an MSc. in Biophysics from the University of Virginia.  

Michael Barnes Lead Solutions Consultant

Michael Barnes, Lead Solutions Consultant, IDBS

Michael is a multidisciplinary bench scientist having worked in various roles/companies, from isolating rare and underrepresented cancers at the Broad Institute, to automating cell-based toxicology assays in a CRO setting.

Prior to shifting to IDBS, Michael spent ~3 years in Pfizer’s BioProcess R&D Cell Line Development group, working to evaluate different vectors/expression systems and investigate phenotypic changes at a genotypic level.
