Contextualized product and process data: critical for empowering decisions throughout the drug development lifecycle
Alberto Pascual, Director of Data Science & Analytics at IDBS, is presenting on Tuesday, September 26 at 16:20 CEST about “Contextualized product and process data: critical for empowering decisions throughout the drug development lifecycle“ for the Digital Transformation Track.
Whether you are striving to better understand the performance of your equipment and processes or looking to transform the way you work with model-based insights, poorly contextualized and siloed data is holding you back. Navigating this complexity typically requires analytics tools and/or data science teams who spend upwards of 80% of their time cleansing and aligning data, slowing your path to insight. In addition, in order to increase your digital knowledge of the end-to-end process, collecting process data, together with experimental data, is essential.
In this presentation, we will present the pillars of a data analytics ecosystem designed to accelerate innovation by enabling data usage, visualization and transformations for advanced insight into drug discovery, development and manufacturing. We will also describe an end-to-end and self-service platform that accelerates process understanding with analytics-powered decision-making due to its embedded AI/ML and visual capabilities. We will demonstrate how researchers can put standard analytics processes in place, eliminate silos of data analytics and promote information sharing and collaboration across departments.
Our presentation will highlight how to:
- Leverage contextual data on how the process and product interact to improve decision-making
- Remove biases towards “success” data to accelerate drug discovery and development by leveraging AI algorithms
- Empower scientists and engineers with insight for confident decisions throughout the drug development lifecycle
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality control.
