Rancho BioSciences and IDBS to Change the Way Companies Improve the Quality of Their Translational and Clinical Research Data
San Diego, Boston & London, April 29, 2014 – Rancho BioSciences, the scientific data consulting company today announced a partnership with IDBS at Bio-IT World Conference & Expo. The collaboration enables the companies to provide mutual customers with manual data curation services for IDBS’ E-WorkBook products in the translational science and clinical research arenas.
The curation activities, and all resulting information a scientist generates, can be stored in E-WorkBook enabling tracking and searching of data custody. Information can also be taken from E-WorkBook, manually curated and then returned for further analysis. The solution lets customers configure the clinical research analysis process, ensuring the capture of key information, and maximize ROI of the curation and analysis efforts.
“IDBS is in the business of storing, moving and analyzing data so it makes sense to partner,” said Julie Bryant, CEO of Rancho BioSciences. “Rancho cleans and aligns that data so that our mutual customers can more easily query the valuable information they have.”
“The quality of data and context of information is vital for successful translational research studies,” said Dr Robin Munro, Director Translational Sciences at IDBS. “Together with Rancho, we can offer our customers a seamless way to curate data and manage information across pharmaceutical and academic collaborations.”
