IDBS to Present One-Click IND Capability at ADMET Europe
Guildford, UK, and Burlington, Mass., April 1, 2010 – IDBS, the leading worldwide provider of research data management and analytics solutions to R&D organizations, today announced that Dr. Paul Denny-Gouldson, product manager for E-WorkBook Suite, will present the latest development in the E-WorkBook Suite, 1 Click IND reports, at the 3rd annual ADMET Europe Conference April 8-9, 2010 in Munich, Germany.
What
Many preclinical labs face an enormous challenge to validate that the contents of a report are accurate and that no transcription errors have occurred. Previously it could take weeks to prepare report content and often more than a month to check the content and validate it against different electronic and paper-based systems.
However, it is now possible for data required for experiments and reports to be captured, stored, and searched in a consistent manner across all departments. In this session, Dr. Denny-Gouldson will discuss how IDBS solutions enable organizations to define and automatically populate MS Word IND submissions and other reports with reviewed and digitally signed off experimental data and results in a few hours. These reports have active hyperlinking of data and results directly back to the secure E-WorkBook experiment source data, allowing simplified and streamlined validation of data in the reports. This results in fully validated reports in days-weeks, instead of months, a significant breakthrough in efficiency for regulatory and preclinical groups.
Who
Dr. Denny-Gouldson has almost 15 years’ experience in pharmacology, pharmaceutical drug development and ELN software development. He joined IDBS in 2005 when the company he founded, Deffinity Solutions, was purchased by IDBS. Prior to this, he was Senior Scientist at Sanofi-Synthelabo (now Sanofi-Aventis). Dr. Denny-Gouldson obtained his PhD. in Computational Biology from Essex University in 1996 and has authored over 20 scientific papers and book chapters.
When
The Select Biosciences ADMET Europe conference will be held at the Holiday Inn, Munich City Center, April 8-9, 2010. Dr. Denny-Gouldson will present on Thursday, April 8, at 12:15pm. For more information and to register visit http://www.selectbiosciences.com/conferences/ADMET2010/index.aspx.
